Hood Cleaning Reports
This policy explains how AetherMint Apps, operated by ALLSZNGOODS LLC, handles information in Hood Cleaning Reports (com.aethermint.hoodreports).
Business records stay on your device
The app stores restaurant or site names and addresses, technician names, service dates, checklist selections, technician-entered findings, outstanding issues, sign-off names, and recommended next-service dates that you enter. These reports are kept locally on your device. The app does not require an AetherMint account and does not automatically upload reports to our servers.
We do not include advertising, behavioral analytics, location tracking, or tools that sell or share your business records with advertisers. The app does not request access to your contacts list.
Photos and device access
When you choose to take or select a before/after service photo, the app uses the camera or system photo picker for that action. A selected image is copied into the app’s private local documents storage so it remains available for reports and PDFs. Replacing a photo or deleting its report removes the app’s saved copy. The app does not continuously access the camera or photo library. Self-contained JSON backups can include report photos; you choose where to copy or share those files.
Files you choose to share
You can create PDF reports or JSON backups and share or save them using your device’s controls. Those files can contain business records, personal information, and, for Hood Cleaning Reports, embedded service photos. You choose the destination and recipient; their services handle the files under their own policies. Files you exported are not deleted when you later remove records from the app.
Purchases
This app offers a permanent, non-consumable lifetime upgrade through Google Play. Google processes the transaction. The app receives purchase status and a signed purchase receipt to verify and restore access. A verified entitlement is stored on your device for offline access. We do not receive your payment card number or operate a payment processor.
Google’s processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. Amounts recorded for your own business transactions are bookkeeping records; the app does not charge your customers, owners, or clients.
The Google Play Billing library also sends Google technical diagnostic information about billing operations. This can include billing error messages and timing, app and SDK versions, Android device/build and network metadata, and a randomly generated Billing-client identifier. Google handles this information under its privacy policy; these diagnostics do not send the business records you enter to AetherMint.
Retention and deletion
Local records remain until you delete them in the app, clear the app’s storage in Android settings, or uninstall the app. Hood Cleaning Reports also removes the saved photos attached to a report when you delete that report or replace a photo. Self-contained backups and other exported files are separate copies and remain wherever you saved or shared them. Export a backup first if you need to keep your work. We cannot recover records that existed only on your device.
Support requests
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use that information to respond and troubleshoot. You can ask us to delete support correspondence by contacting the same address, subject to records we must retain to meet legal obligations.
Security
Local records use Android app storage. Protect your phone and backup destinations with appropriate access controls. No storage system is completely secure, so share customer or business information only with intended recipients.
Children
This app is designed for business use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app.
Policy changes
We will update this page and its effective date if the app’s data practices change.
